Red Sox offered Betts $300 million for 10 years while he countered with $420 for 12 years. Would say Betts is more greedy than the Red Sox. Smart move for Red Sox to move on as Betts won't be worth his contract in 5 years. Could also say Marner and Matthews are greedy as well - it's not like they couldn't live on a little less and give the team some extra money to improve the team - like a back up goalie.

I enjoy certain reality shows so I guess I am a loser in your mind despite you knowing nothing about me. Middle school mentality there. Reminds me of Trump insulting people who disagree with him. Hope you don't teach this to your kids.

Have a couple Housemartin records in my basement. Might be time to dust them off and give them a relisten. Like their stuff. Keep throwing out the music recommendations, always like listening to bands that I might not know of.

Nylander might get $10 million as a free agent as teams over pay for free agents. He is worth his contract but isn't a $10 million player at the moment.

I get the injury not being an excuse thing as non realistic and macho...

But totally non macho and nerdy is the reality of building a team with depth... of coaching a team in a way that helps less talented players fill in better...

And also the like $70M he made in the NHL previous to this year, and the $17.6M he made in the KHL, but it depends on if they paid him in dollars or rubles, I know most players get paid in rubles, but I think some of the big names get paid in dollars.

I don't think so. Some people mean it very literally that if a star player goes down they expect the rest of the team to fill in seamlessly.
